If i create a new user for Exchange the contact name appears in the All Users group and not in the GAL. Why is that the case?

maya14,

Are you creating new users from a template account? Make sure that Hide from Exchange Address lists is not enabled under Exchange Advanced. Also, remeber that it may take several hours for newly created user to appear in GAL.

Regards,

Michael

Dont use template account and hide from address list is not enabled.I have created users several days ago and they dont show up in the GAL. Perhaps the GAL address book is not updated on client side?

maya14,

Best way to check it is to connect to Exchange server online (not cached mode) and look in the GAL. If you can see accounts you've created, it means that clients are not downloading OAB. If not check what is your OAB based on. Laternatively, delete OAB and recreate it.

Regards,

Michael

My GAL shows updated info when online, but not in cache mode. What do you mean what is my OAB based on?
