I have an issue with a G700/S8300 installation running CM 2.1. There was a power outage which forced the LSP to take over. Unfortunately it did not go back to main even when i reseted the LSP. When i try to connect to the main it is impossible. I cannot do it over the network via the EXT ports, via the S8300 or via the console. There is also an ICC error on the S8300 when i viewd the errors from the LSP. All other boards in the main such as my MM710 and MM711 boards work well. My question is this...could my main be totally messed up? I am thinking the power outage may have totally messed it up.

Thanks

Try busying out, reset and release the CLAN that is used for that gateway, then reboot the LSP. It should come back online and connect back to the main site.

Probably i was misunderstood..there are no CLANS in this configuration..the ICC is a G700/S8300 and the LSP is a G700/S8300.

Still awaiting some advice please help LOL :(

Does the modem answer on the main and return a login prompt?

Sorry about the late reply but the modem does not answer so it does not return a login prompt.
