no, it does not matter.
You should check the "mg recovery rule" on the G700's
telnet into each G700 MGP, do a "show mgp recovery"
and also do a "show mgc". If you have more than 1 CLAN card listed on the show mgc, make sure the transition point is set to more than 1. For example, if you have 2 CLANs, and the S8300LSP as the 3rd entry on your "show mgc", then you would want the transitiion point set to 2. this is done via "set mgp reset transition 2" (you also must type "config" before you can do this command).
If your transition point is wrong, it could delay or prevent the G700 from registering or recovering properly.
Of course if you upgraded your LSPs, then your main site to CM 3.1.4, that would also help. Many, many bugs have been fixed in CM 3.1.4, since CM 3.0.1 was released. Why run an old version of CM3, when AVAYA is giving you CM 3.1.4 for free, on their website, as a downloadable ISO, you just burn a CD and you are good to go.
