...Other than a few words associated with this undertaking, I know nothing and would appreciate anyone that could provide some direction in this endeavor. What I’m tasked with is setting up SNMP traps on Avaya G450s that report out alarms to Science Logic’s EM7 (monitoring app). What I have are the EM7 IPs that the traps are to be sent to, know that I am to use SNMPv2c with a predetermined community string, and have “Administration for the Avaya G450 Branch Gateway PDF”. What I don’t have is a clear understanding/ know exactly what all command lines I am to use to implement. Please advise.
