Depends on what you are trying to save. If it is the config of a g450 that you are losing when ever it resets you need to enter the command " copy run start". This will copy the running configuration into the startup configuration so the next time the 450 is reset it will load that configuration.
If you're trying to copy the running configuration of a G450 for backup purposes then simply issue the command "show run" within putty and then highlight the screen's output and paste into notepad. I maintain several configuration types like this and use them in the installation process for new G$50/G430's ... just alter the .txt file, copy and paste into the new G4x0. Bada-Bing, Bada-Boom a completely configured G4x0 in about 2 minutes.
