G4 Powerbook OS-X 10.2.8 won't connect to WAP54G

I have a Linksys WAP54G with WPA TKIP personal turned on. I've recently received a G4 Powerbook and am trying to get it to connect with no success.

It connects to a Linksys 802.11b device in my office, but not to my WPA protected G router.

It's OS-X 10.2.8 and I cannot believe it can't connect to a WAP54G. Anyone else had this problem?
