G4 Internal Modem/G3 Compatibilty

Depends upon the G4's motherboard. I can't remember the "names" given to the board but the first G4's that hit the market I do think used the G3 Blue/White's modem. The modem was long, slender with a (approx) one inch white connector on it.
The newer G4's have a completly different modem which could not be used.
