Hey all,

I have been reading the release 9 System descriptions book and it states that the TN2404 (Processor) Increases both the Dram and Flash Memory form 16 to 32 meg.

Im I correct in thinking that the new TN2401 (NetPkt Card) still houses the Flash Card or have they changed it so that the processor houses the flash card???

Cheers

Dave.

The processor houses the flash card, but you are right with the increased memory - the new cards are thicker and formatted differently, the result being you need to buy R9 flashcards.

Hope this helps,

Chris

Dave,

the Only processorcard containing a hard disk right now is the TN795...
The TN2404 does not contain any internal storage capacity. You were right the Flash Card is still the only memory medium.

Rgds,

Maarten

On V9 Si the TN2401 (netpkt/controller circuit pack) does indeed still hold the flash card, the processor pack also has DRAM on it in the form if SIM cards.
