Hi
I have installed a TN429d in a G3V6i. The carrier has enabled CLID to the line and I have verified with a display test set that CLID is coming across. I have the line connected in a CO type trunk group and have the group set to Bellcore for the CLID. I also have double checked the system customer options form and confirmed that ANALOG TRUNK INCOMING CALLER ID is set to YES.

The problem I am having is that I can get the CLID name to display on the phones but the number. I have tried to send the call to different types of digital phones like 8410D and 6408D+ and have also set the trunk to different types like fx and wats but still no number is displayed.
Has anyone else seen this or know how to correct? Is there a setting somewhere that can toggle between displaying the name vs the number?

I'm not sure where else to look.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I don't think the system is designed to do both name and number.

Have your bell company change the feature from caller-ID with name to just caller-ID.

ICLID on Analog Trunk
In the US and Japan, the user’s terminal displays calling party information.
Name and calling number are available from the US central offices; only the
calling number is available from central offices in Japan. This feature may be
used in countries that comply with either US or Japanese requirements.
