G3si question

I am looking at moving some ISDN DID trunks from a s8100 to our G3si that is at another location. The switches are not DCS enabled, but are connected via a TIE trunk. My thinking is that the G3si will look at the 4 digits Telco is sending and use the UDP to route it across the TIE trunk. I am not well Versed in Avaya's incoming routing as of yet, and thought maybe one of the Guru’s here could tell me if my thinking is flawed.

That is all possible with the correct customer options, facilities between switches and programming.

Can the users in the location with the G3 dial the 4 digit extensions and reach people at the location with the S8100 now?
 
Thank you AvayaTier3, i believe all is correct between the switches since we already use the TIE trunks for internal dialing and LD call routing. But just as a test i took an Existing DID number on the G3si and on the incoming call handling treatment pointed it to an extension on the S8100, and it worked. I am thinking that if that works, my idea should work as well.

Make sure that the G3si has ISDN-PRI and Uniform Dial Plan enabled on the Customer Options screen and that you have sufficient RTU to add the trunks. Depending on your present software level you may not be able to add them.
