G3SI/CMS Netmask Settings

My G3SI and CMS server are on the same network segment. They both plug in to the same Cisco switch, one on port 2 and the other on port 3. Port 1 goes to our router so that others can get into CMS with CentreVu. My problem is, even though the G3SI and CMS are plugged into the same Cisco switch, and their IP's reflect that they are on the same segment, if our router goes down, they can't see each other anymore, and CMS stops taking measurements. I believe it is that the G3SI and CMS do not have the same netmask. Does anyone know how to assign a netmask in the G3SI?

Which version? Should be "change node-names". -CL

You can go to ch ip-interface & assign the subnet mask to the C-Lan card. I am doing it same. Also do a trace-route ip x.x.x.x & see whether you use the router to reach the CMS or not. It should solve your problem..

My system is setup with all the PBX parts on a Hub by them selfs. This was the way Avaya wanted it then I have the Hub attached to the network. So if the switch goes down I am still collecting data on the cms, call accounting audix etc...

I have a version 7 and don't have the option of ch ip-interface. I do have ch node-names in this version but I'm not sure what I need to do.
