G3R to S8700 FAX over DCS issues

Had a 3 node DCS connected system. Converted one node to S8700/G650 configuration and rebuilt the DCS connections.Node 1 G3r, Node 2 G3R, Node 3 S8720. Having FAX issues when faxing from G3R to the 8720. Node 1 or 2 to node 3 fails fax. This worked last week before we cut node 3 to 8720. Now we dial node 3 from 1 or 2 and fax answers but apparently fails during negotiation phase. FAX and modem pass through is on in the only codec set we use. We can dial from 1 or 2 to 3 through the public network (7 digit) but not 4 digit. In other words, when we traverse the DCS network the fax fails. BY the way node 1 to 3 works better than 2 to 3. We can sometimes complete 1 to 3 calls but very seldom complete 2 to 3 calls. These links are working fine for other voice traffic, just a fax issue.
