I have a company that is going to start transfering calls
from their location to mine. My 800 service provider is
Sprint and they are using AT&T. For the test, I gave them one of my Sprint 800 numbers and they gave me one of their AT&T 800 numbers. The test worked fine except the transfer/connect feature with At&T did not release the call. It tied up their trunk even after the transfer. This is because of the 2 different service providers. I have plenty of Trunks on my Sprint circuits. I'm hoping that I will not have to order a t1 from AT&T. I think one other option would be to do a tie trunk between the two switches.
I could also order an 800 number from AT&T and have it set up as a readyline and have it ride my local AT&T DID trunks. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
