G350 VAL announcements not showing up

4.0.1 8300 with G350. enable announcements and added the board, but yet after adding an announcement, it wont show up under list announcment. but i can go back and do a change annc. xxx

to add to this i have figured out that GEDI cant list them but regular emulation can. VAL Manager says it cant list any. this is the first time i tried 26.36.0 Gateway firmware.

Yes, you need to upgrade your version of ASA. Then you will see the announcments when you do a "list announcments". this is a bug in the older ASA, with CM 4

i have 4.0.12 ASA which has worked with other 4.0.1 switches.

upgraded to 4.0.15 and same problem.

It works for me, I have ASA Version 4.0.12 U1.0
notice the Update 1.0, date on the ASA when you do "Help" is "Release build at 14:56:35 on Jun 21 2007"

If you have provisioned your announcements in the PBX but they do not show up when you list properties in VAL manager, call your announcement extension to verify that the announcement works. After you have listened to the announcment, list properties in the VAL Manager again and see if they appear.
