Good Afternoon. I have been working with Dialogic on a problem with a Media gateway and it just seems like it would be a simple fix, but cannot seem to find the issue, and figured maybe another set of eyes would help.
The PBX is a R.9.5 with a TN2181 card connected to the 1000 series Media Gateway.
We are able to get the PBX to connect to Exchange 2010, the sound just sounds over amplified almost like listening to a blown speaker. We’ve tried reducing the sound on the MGW, but it just sounds like a softer blown speaker. We’ve changed TN2181 cards, punch down blocks, all wiring (numerous times) and still the same result.
I have tested the ports with stations (6408D+ phones) and they sound perfect.
Confused. Dialogic is sure there is nothing wrong with the units...
