I am going to install an Avaya G250 gateway my question is once I know the extention # and plug the phone in what code or # sequence do I use to make the phone live

Will this gateway be in a remote location? What type of phones are you planning on using? If you are using the VoIP phones, you simply register the phones to the gateway once they are plugged into the PoE ports and the gateway is active.

Thanks for the info , the IT person I am working with finally got back to me and gave me instuctions thanks again
