G/L Inventory Asset Account problem

We have Macola ES v4.00.4 [ms-sql], and if you go into Package Settings, Distribution, Inventory Management, click on Default Accounts tab, the very first entry, Inventory Asset shows an invalid account, and will not let you enter a valid account. All the rest of the entries are ok??? Does anyone know what is set wrong for this to occure??

You have an issue with your chart of accounts.
Your Inventory account in question should be setup as a Stock Account.

Thank you so much. The default install on this version had it going to an asset account, not stock. It worked. Now, the last problem I have is this, in the same area as I described above, all the cost centers show as invalid. I assume I am missing something else in the GL.....
