what is the feature activation code for call forwarding and how do I deactivate it from my phone? This is a analog phone.

The command to see what codes do what in the switch would be "display feature". That will show you all the feature access codes. If you give your set console permissions, you can use them from your set.

I am new to definity and do not have any training or books. what is the step by step process for getting feature access codes on the console?

In the switch, type in "display cos". This will let you know what class of service to use for console permissions. Then give your phone that cos.(ch sta xxxx) Then in the "display feature" look at what you would like to do. If it is call forward your phone look for Call foward activation/deactivation codes. That should do it.
