I previously mentioned a problem with the four programmable buttons on the Digital cordless 3810 phone:
"I've been fighting with an Avaya 3810 on IPOffice. Of the 4 programmable buttons on the phone, only two of them seem able to take programming. Of the four buttons that are supposed to be programmable, only the 2 on the far right respond to programming in the IP Office Manager. These are the 2 buttons we should logically expect to be buttons 3&4, but they respond to programming as buttons 1&2. Go figure."
Much to my surprise, Avaya tech responded with notification that in the "button programming" tab of the user, the four buttons are addressed in the locations for buttons 8,9,1,2 (left to right on the handset).
Peculiar, but they do work when done that way instead of 1,2,3,4
Now, once another rev corrects this, the button programming will have to be redone.
