Hello,

We have a site that was set up with the below config. Inbound to the fax is working but outbound is not... you just get a busy signal. We test using an analog for now. Below are the 3 FXS ports, the 3 dial peers for the 3 fax machines, and the dial peer I think they all point to (which looks like just local to me - we'll need local and LD). No other phones are having issues dial out, just the 3 FXS ports.

I would do a sh call active voice brief on a test call and see what dial peer the call legs are hitting. Too little info to say at the moment beyond asking if you've verified the CSS is correct.

Thank you for the reply. I have to verify if they tried to dial local or LD but would the command "translation-profile outgoing TYPE" in the dial peers doesn't prevent them from dialing LD?

After troubleshooting and getting more info they were connecting a butt-set to the FXS port and got a busy tone right away without trying to dial. Removing "direct-inward-dial" resolved the issue. Thanks
