Folks,
Implementing a slightly older CME environment with an FXO trunk. Set up a dial peer, and other things I am trying to learn and the problem I am running into is when calling from the outside, you get a dial tone. (I'm hoping its from the CallManager and not the CO.) I did set up a pilot/hunt group number (700) to no avail.
I'd like to see what I can do with the following
Allow the use of a trunk access code 8 for all numbers and all calls, no restrictions basically its a a hot number. In the past I was able to get Avaya systems like IP Office to have 8 act as a short code to a 701 line group, hit 8 you can dial whatever number you'd like.
Have inbound numbers from the same trunk to route to a pilot 8(read hunt group) extension 700 to ring all phones at the same time.
