I have a customer who reported a possible lightning strike in his Cisco router, which affected the operation of FXO card. He says me tah "He has dialtone but can not make calls. As I can determine if hardware failure?
I would start with verifying the dial peers on the router. Did the site drop power and the router reboot? Maybe the config wasn't written to mem prior to the reboot. Do you have another router config for another customer that's working that you can compare it to? Just a thought.
