I am not very versed on the BCM/Norstar software and have a question. Let's say the customer wants to have all of the incoming line appear on all the phones so they can pick up from any phone etc...
They also wanted each person to have a voicemail box and have their phones forward to the VM box after 4 rings. I told them that since they wanted the lines appearing on all the phones that was not possible since the lines would ring 4 times and then go to the general delivery mailbox. I ended up changing one of the executive phones to not have line apperances so his VM would work normally.
Am I wrong on this? I told them that if they had target lines/DID or if they limited the number of phones where the lines appeared that the VM issue could be resolved.
