Fwd to an extension DN in mailbox CP5.0 CS1000e 1

I'm just trying to get a VP's phone to forward to a secretaries mailbox without ringing at her desk.??

The phone im trying to get to forward has FNA in CLS. The FDN is the Callpilot DN. When you call the VP's phone it does forward to the seretaries mailbox, but not before it rings 4 times at the secretaries desk. The secretary also has a BLF with the VP'S dn on it as SCR XXXX. So you see it ring on the BLF key 4 times..then after it rings on the secretaries key00 4 times..then it goes to the mailbox.

The VP Has no mailbox, the secretary has the VP's DN as an extension dn in her mailbox.

You need to use SFA in the CLS. (SFA Second level Forwarding Allowed). See NTP 553-3001-305

You would need to delete the primary mailbox, then add the extension in the DN field of the secretarys mailbox. This way it would ring 4 times on the managers phone then go to the secretarys mailbox.
Of course the manager will not have access to the voice mail messages unless the secretary gives out the password.

Trvlr1, That is my current setup and it doesnt work....I'm waiting to test having added SFA as suggested by Sam above. I'll let you know what happens as soon as I can test it.

From your description above, it seems you have the phone forwarded to the extension, the supervisor phone should only forward to the generic voice mail number. Once it gets in to voice mail it will see there is no main voice mail box for it, then look at all the DN's in other mailboxes. Is this what you have set up? Can you post a tnb of the supervisors phone?

I think you have another appearance of 7643 that is the MARP TN.
Print a DNB of 7643 to find it.
If you want 4-0-12-12 to be the controller of FDN and HUNT then you need to make a change to key 0. Same DN but say yes to MARP.
