fuzzy screen from boot up. Never recover.

The monitor display is fuzzy starting from bootup of pc.
The display didn't recover after time

It looks like it has lines and multiple numbers and alphabets and lines all over the screen

I was trying to install a network card and an old floppy disk...then ...the comp won't bootup...later without the new items and rewiring of the default hardware...the screen turns up unclear and fuzzy

Any help will be appreciated

Does it look like this on the DOS portion of bootup? Or does this start when Windows starts to load up?

Yes it does from the dos to windows it's the same screen

I would make sure the video card is seated firmly. If that doesn't work, try another video card/monitor. If those doen't help, could possibly be RAM or a deeper issue...

A hot cpu will do this also. Check the cpu fan as well.
