I'm curious, what do you think about the future of Cold Fusion? I've got some friends and relatives that think Cold Fusion has no future at all, but they know little or nothing about Cold Fusion. They say you'd better spend your time learning other techniques like java or such. I think Cold Fusion rocks, but in my country you hear very little about Cold Fusion. What is your view on this? To me, boxing is like a ballet, except there's no music, no choreography, and the dancers hit each other.

Based on Macromedia's push of CFMX into Java and J2EE and development of Flash from a presentation language to an application development tool with CF, that Cold Fusion has a good future.

It is easy to develop with and essentially is JAVA.

There are tons of sites using CF, there not always easy to spot because some developers strip the .cfm.
