One of my customers had a power spike that opened the "fixed" glass fuse on his Magix power unit. I say fixed because it is part of the circuit board in there. It can be popped out of there with just a little effort. Has anyone ever replaced this fuse? If so, what would be the replacement size/value?

Thanks

Long before I looked at replacing the PROTECTING FUSE, I would evaluate the site for things like distance out of the building of certain extensions or devices connected to the system.

What is the overall design of this system?

All in offices? - Some out at remote locations?

All sets are in house, CO lines are protected by a "tower MAX CO/25" protector. The power outlet in the room is on battery backup. I'm sure it's a backup power problem because other equipment failed also during a commercial power failure. I was just wondering if anyone had ever replace that fuse.

If you cand read anythng on it, it should be easy to replace. Make sure you switch like for like. If it pops again, well.......
They rarely go bad.
