now that i'm able to enable restriction on digit dialing, does anyone know how I could do the following on my BCM 400 4.0 ?

-Do not allow phone lines to be “forwarded” to off-premise numbers
-Eliminate trunk to trunk transfer capability

or if anyone has some kind of book/pdf/bible for a BCM 4.0 system?

You can download all docs from the BCM itself. Just open a browser connection to the system's IP address and go to the documentation page. To restrict extensions from transferring or forwarding off-site, go to sets - active sets- capabilities and uncheck the "redirect allowed" box.

Yes - to each set. No way to do it system-wide.
