I am running mandrake with KDE .. For some reason every now and again it will make it where my mouse if it want to click something has to be about a quater of an inch away from it. if I reboot it fixes it. SO if I wanted to click the x to close a window I have to click a quater of an inch away from it .. please help.. I

hehe, annoying problem all right. never seen it myself.
have you tried different mouse settings?
did you install it as an ordinary 2-button ps2 mouse?
perhaps you should try another? /Sören
