Function to print result on fax machine

Hi All the last program i written in C before three years
but know i realy know the C have the solution for my problem
I need C function or program to send fax for many user and the contant of fax differnet from user to user
Ex FAX:1111111 to user 1
FAx:2222222 to user 2
and etc... is this possible to find function or program can seprate the result to user and send it in fax.

1) What OS
2) How do you communicate with the fax machine? Is it through a serial/parallel or USB link.
