function menu of documents

hello
I am having issue where most of the down arrows do not open up. specifically the Function menu beside the documents. At folder level it seem to work.

I am using EI browser and the it says" waiting data " and the fuction menu will not open thus cannot view the attributes , audit etc ..

any idea if this is a configuration change ? if so where?

I think you meant IE,if that is the case try another computer to see if it is a local problem.If it again fails see if livelink server is catching exceptions which will be apparent if you put debugging on the livelink server.In the opentext.ini you want to put under options debug=2 and wantlogs=true and restart the server.If you see a trace file that is generated send it to OT support and they will tell you which module is causing the error.

Always the first line of defense is
Re-satrting ll services
Re-booting ll server

and using a different computer

I was able to figure the problem through the trace file. there is a Livelink Text Editing module that needed to be installed.
