This may be me being thick, but here goes...
i have written a small function to remove blank rows from a worksheet, is it possible to make this available to any workboook thru' a button on the toolbar, if so how is it done?

Craig

Store your function in Personal.xls (a hidden file that is opened in the background of Excel).

Then right-click the toolbar at the top of Excel, choose Customize... Commands... Macros(Categories). Now drag and drop a new Custom button to your toolbar. Right-click the custom button and click Assign Macro...

Good luck!

Hi marklenel,
I'm sorry, but I don't find the Personal.xls file (I have Office 2k)¿?

Any idea?

Try Recording a macro and drop down the box that says store macro in: and select peronal.xls

Select a couple of cells - click stop recording and then press Alt + F11 to view the code.

Double click personal.xls and right click on sheet 1 and click view object.

Thanks Marklenel
