Hi,
We have an admin changing her role within the company and another admin changing her role to the other admin's position. Both people have created recurring appointments for their bosses. When they are moved to their new position, they will lose delegate rights and cause Calendar issues in the future. Is there a way to change ownership or change the meeting organizer so I don't have to manually delete and re-add all meetings?

Thanks for any help!
-Chris

No, there is no way to reallocate meeting owners when you change delegation roles.

One way round this is to leave the accounts as belonging to the role, not the person, and rename them.

How do I change someone's account so it belongs to a role? And what's going to happen when I create the user's account again (They're staying within the company, just changing job functions).

Thanks!
-Chris

I think you've misunderstood me slightly. You don't change the account so that it belongs to a role. You simply rename the account for the new person that's taking over the role. If the person who used to do that job is not leaving, just create them a new account after you've renamed their old account.

Any email that needs to move with the person can easily be exported to PST and imported to their new account - either manually folder by folder as required, or use ExMerge to simply and quickly move the entire mailbox of email to PST and into the new mailbox.
