We have our system all made up and nice, we want to show it full screen without the windows stuff around it. I imagine it's something simple, but I can't find it. Does anyone know? Thanks.

Do you mean Windows or the FMP window - tolbar, etc.?

Cheers,
Paul J.

Both really, for example... I pretty much want it to look like a powerpoint presentation would, where the file is the only thing seen, no menus, no windows, no nothing. You know what I mean?

Filemaker offers this in the developer version. They call it kiosk mode. The Windows start button and program bar are removed. The Filemaker menu is still present. Developer also allows you to build this in a runtime application in kiosk mode. Depending on your needs, menu control can also be changed with a plugin limiting access to menu features.

If you do not have the Developer version and I could offer to build this for you as a runtime kiosk mode. This would let you see it in action before writing the check to buy your own version.

I hope this helps.

Well, I'll look into using developer edition since we probably will start using this often for showing, and it would be best if we could do that. Thanks!

One limitation of the runtime app you should be aware of. It is not networkable. If you are marketing a stand alone application, you'll be in good shape. If you can distribute more than one copy to be used individually on a network, you'll be OK. But the database files will not share in runtime.
