Hi guys.
I have a new x64 server with W2k3 SP1 and SQL 2005 x64 instaled on it. Everything works fast and fine until i try to search in my PDFs docs with full-text search.
In my workstation I have SQL 2005 Dev Ed(x86) and the same database(I restore the same backup) and the FTS are enable for pdf.
I made the same steps in both machines:
1. Install pdf ifilter(from Adobe);
2. Set 'load_os_resources' to 1;
3. Set 'verify_signature' to 0;
4. reconfigure and restart services;
5. rebuild the index;

If i select from sys.fulltext_document_types, in the x86 machine, .pdf is present(enable so), but in the x64 it is not!

I searched in the x64 machine and the ifilter was instaled in the Programs Files(x86) directory, so i think it is a x86 application.

Anyone know something about this problems?
Is there any fix or workaround?
Somebody has the same problem?

Tks.

If it's in the Program Files (x86) folder then it's an x86 app. Check with abode and see if they have a 64 bit version. You'll probably need to wait for the 64bit to come out for this to work.
