When I go to Screen Mode 9 the working area only covers a portion of my screen. Is there a way to have the working area cover the full screen in mode 9 as in the other screen modes?

I get a full screen on my PC, on my laptop screen 9 doesn't use the full screen for this reason.
The laptop has an LCD screen, with a set number of pixils,

Windows will magnify screen 9 , but only by an integer, if it has enough room it will make one screen nine pixil either 1x1 or 2x2 or 3x3, it uses the highest one possible, but becuase the resolution is a weird one, it will never take upt he full screen.

I am using a PC with a 17 inch monitor. I have a full working screen in Mode 12, 13, etc, but not in mode 9. The reduced working area provides all the rows and columns, but the characters are smaller.

The pixels are smaller in screen mode nine. The screen 640 X 350 resolution. While the other screen have smaller sizes (320 X 200). If you are porting graphics from on mode to the other, they may appear smaller or larger.

You simply have to adjust your monitor to have the image cover the full screen in screen 9. The monitor (if it's not too old) will remember the adjustments and recall them every time you set screen 9. In an old monitor, without memories you have to live with the window it gives, or adjust it manually every time you change mode Antoni

Thanks to aqual (Antoni) for his solution. It works perfectly.
