Using CR9, I see the option full outer join greyed out, I am currently connecting via OLE DB(ADO) using Jet 4. I am looking at the Xtreme database.

Any advise appreciated

I'm not familiar with OLE DB using ADO, though I am familiar with ADO using OLE DB.

I know, it sounds like I'm splitting hairs, but I'm not trying to.

In CR 8.5, if I select an Active Data data source using ADO and build my own SQL string, I lose a good deal of control over the data set, and it wouldn't surprise me if CR 9 treats it akin to an SP, which it does not allow a Full Outer Join of:

-k

This may be a silly question but I am using the Tables and not Views of the data. I have read the article and it relates to Stored Procedures.

Thanks for picking me up on ADO, I do need to be more accurate in my wording.

Regards

Jason
