Option 61C (upgraded to CS1000 components) Release 4.5, Call Pilot server release 04.04.04. CallPilot Manager is release 5. Desktop messaging is also at 5.
I have had half a dozen users (including myself) using Desktop messaging for a couple years - both Voicemail and Fax coming to our Outlook inboxes. We can send faxes too.
On Friday I created a new Fax number, Phantom 500 DCFW to FAX SDN and set up an IMAP mailbox for 2 users who previously had NO desktop messaging of any kind. I sent a test fax to the number, it showed up in both their Fax inboxes, I patted myself on the back and went home to enjoy my weekend of trick-or-treating and the Cowboys whipping Seattle..
Now today I get a call from a user who previously DID have fax capabilities in her inbox and she says her faxes aren't coming to her Outlook. She can check her voicemail via the phone and the lady in the box tells her she has 1 unprinted fax message but she can't see it. She never got the IMAP box and has nothing to do with that department.
SO I check my desktop messaging inbox and I see I can't send a test fax now and I can't receive one either. Neither of us can log into MyCallPilot now.
Does IMAP not play well with "regular" DTM? I know I have plenty of licenses to cover the 2 new people with the IMAP box. I don't know if the problem is related but I am 99% sure that the new IMAP fax box is the only new thing in the network. No recent upgrades to anything on either end (neither network nor phone side). Vendor was in to update PEPS on everything 5 or 6 months ago.
When I try to send a test fax now it pops up a box that says I am working in offline mode and that I should close the open callpilot session, click OK and try again. Clicking OK just repeatedly brings up the same error dialog box. My other user's Callpilot also said she was in offline mode. Have no idea how we got that way or how to get back in online mode.
I did do a complete reinstall of Desktop messaging on my PC.
Any ideas what I need to check?
thanks!
