I have a 400 3.7 that we are getting ready to install. It is loaded with 6 MBM and 32 IP clients. This is by far one of the bigger BCM's that i have installed and i was wondering if someone could offer up some suggestions on processing speed and reliability. All thoughts and suggestions are appreciated.

It depends on how many resources are being use at the same time and reliability shound be the same as a smaller system. (Your asking for what if)

marshall can you tell me the steps to installing more PEC cards? I was told it's not easy. thanks.

There is nothing to installing more MSPEC cards you open the box and you will see to slots that look like PCMCIA cards. Install your MSPEC cards and your job is done.

i understand that side of it, i was told adding these cards once it has been programmed cause instability. any truth to that?

It allocates more DSP resources to the system the system would be more stable especially in an IP enviroment. It is like adding ram to a PC it well run better with more resources.
