Full back up but reporting failure

I am running veritas 8.6 on a windows 2000 server. I had everything working fine but now all my data is being backed up but the job reports failure at the very end of the job. Once all the datat is backed up I get one of a few errors.

I either get: I/O Bus was reset, No Media in Drive, or Device not attached.

Does anyone have any idea what may be going on here?

First get upgrade to latest Version of Backup Exec. Your version is no longer supported. Upgrade to latest 8.6 drivers. Update the SCSI card drivers, etc. Have you checked the system log for any error related to i/o error. Do you have it set to eject the tape - maybe take this option off if your saying the backup completes then ther eis a I/O error.

Eject is not set up. I haven't checked the system logs yet.. That is my next step.. I am running 8.6 and all drivers are updated
