Fujitsu series 3 programming

I have a series 3. I have purchased 3 manuals for it. I am first trying to access the system. I have 1 room that when I try to set a wake up call I get an error message. I believe the switch isn't recognising the room number. I have worked on Merlins as well as Mitel, so I am a little familiar.
Please help
