Hi Gang
I got this server off sleazebay (I know, I know...) without any software and I need some help. It is a RX300 version 1. dual xeons, loads of ram, gb lan card, remote viewing card and ready to go! But...
First off, I want to do raid 5 and I hear that I need to use an adaptec ZCR card. Is this true? Which model? Do you have one I can borrow? The server only offers raid 0, 1 and 10. I've got 5 x 146 gb disks and this is going to upset the apple cart if I can't sort it out.
Serverstart. Anyone got a copy then can send to me?
Last one for now, I can create a raid array, put in Windows XP installation disk, just to try it out, and it says that it can't see any harddisks. Any ideas?
It's going to be running Windows SBS2003 when it's done, just got to get the damn thing working...
