I've been using PowerCOBOL 5 for some years now, and never had any problem.
Recently I had to reinstall (formatting the hard drive) WinXP SP2.
After that, I also reinstalled PowerCobol 5, but when I open a project, or create a new one, I can't edit the scriplets with the code.
I really don't know what's going wrong. Tried absolutly everything.
Everything is working fine except for this. It looks like the internal editor cannot be loaded. Of course I've checked the paths, and they were ok.
Anyone any clue of what's happening???
Thanks

I got the same trouble. I simple de-installed the compiler and I reinstalled it starting the system with the F8 function (safety/debug mode) and before ran the setup I put the antivirus OFF

It ran fine after that.
