Hi All,

I'm trying to automate the FTP of reports to a FTP folder. I have the job servers services running under the same account that i have set up with permissions to the FTP folders i need.

The issue is i keep getting : destination directory error. CrystalEnterprise.Ftp: 550 Restricted Action : Command Aborted. The jobservers have FTP enabled

I can FTP files from the server using cute FTP using the same account to the FTP location but not through Enterprise.

The setup i have for the report is


Host: ftp.xxxx.com
Port 21
username : crystalenterprise

password : xxxxx

Any ideas?#

Have you configured a DESTINATION DIRECTORY on your FTP site and in the lower section of the Default FTP Destination page in the CMC?

eg. /reports

A relative path is interpreted relative to the root directory on the FTP server.

I don't think CE likes going directly to the root directory.
