Hello! I'm a newbie to the group...
I'm running Apache 3.12 on our server, which is a Solaris box running UNIX. I was FTPing some files a week ago and halfway through the FTPing, my FTP program (WSFTP) dropped connection to the web server. When I logged back in, I couldn't see any of the files I just posted, though they are viewable through http. I can see about 80 percent of the other files on our web server via FTP, but not all of them. I tried using 2 other FTP programs on different computers (FTP through Word, and Fetch for Macintosh) and still couldn't see them. I even tried Telnet, which allowed me to see more files, but still not all of them. I tried an INIT 6 to restart the server and that didn't help either. Any idea how to fix this problem?

Thanks!

Actually, I tried logging in as root and I couldn't see them either via telnet or FTP. Still not sure what's happening here.
