Ftp - transferring partial files

Hi,

I am running FTP on AIX 5.1 and I am running into an issue. I am connecting to a windows ftp site and am grabbing a file. During the transfer something happens because I am only receivung a partial file. The logs show nothing is wrong. The file is for example 20 kb but only 14 kb gets transferred. Any Ideas?

This thing happened to me once but honestly i don't remember how did i solved it

have you tried transfering the file by binary setting?

Check your default fsize in /etc/security/limits should be set to -1 =
for unlimited

Does the FTP session show the number of bytes transfered?
You might need a verbose session.
Could be the DOS to UNIX conversion if not a binary transfer.
