FTP transfer

I am trying to FTP (get) a physical file from the AS400 onto a PC without the CR/LF characters. In other words I want to FTP the file from the AS400 into the PC file as one continuous string. Any help will be appreciated.

Assuming you have an ftp server defined and functioning on the AS400... then I would use a product like ws_ftp which is available free for download, runs on the PC and allows the option of adding or not adding the line terminator characters. This should do it.
