I have a flat file on an iSeries that contains data from our Kronos time clocks that I would like to pass to the ADP payroll system. The file is 82 Bytes, with the last two positions being a carrage return and a line feed. No matter what I try I either get blank records between the the good records when I transfer the file or I loose the Carrage return and line feed. The ADP software will not accept the records without the CR/LF at the end. Anybody?

You could do the translation from EBCDIC to ASCII in a HLL program to a stream file, then FTP it to the ADP server in binary mode (this will preserve the CR/LF's).
