ftp to a CS1000M

I have a remote CS1000M running 4.5 software. I need to load a patch - previously I woudl ftp to the system using teh CPSID account and standard password. That no longer seems to work I have Level 2 access to the switch so tried a standard level 2 account - still can't login via ftp. I created a new PDT2 account - also can't login via ftp.

Did something change with a patch or service update?

Is there a different way to get the file onto the flash card remotely?

You should be able to FTP to any VxWorks CS1K on the ELAN, and use PDT2 credentials (or NetworkAdmin credentials in a UCM environment).

Clive, call me if you get stuck as it's easy to do. The main thing is that you need to press the spacebar when you get to the "login name" box as 4.5 didn't need a PDT2 name.

I use WS_FTP Pro most of the time.
