FTP/Telnet or HTTP to another Server

Is there a way that I can have a Trigger execute a batch file that would FTP/Telnet or HTTP to another server?


Any examples?

One way to achieve this is for the trigger enable a job held on SQL Server agent. This in turn could run a DTS package or stored procedure which in turn can run your batch job.
